Pike Market Food Bank
The food bank works to end hunger in downtown Seattle. Volunteer opportunities include organizing their warehouse, collecting donated food from Market vendors and farmers markets, and delivering groceries to homebound shoppers. They accept volunteers weekdays 9am-3pm and until 6pm on Wednesdays. Individual volunteers can come in and get started with an orientation Mondays at 10am and Wednesdays at 10am or 3pm. You can sign up as a school group.
